WHY XLPILOT EXISTS

Built from the realities of finance work.

Finance teams still carry critical work through complex workbooks, inconsistent exports, manual reconciliations, and reporting cycles that leave little room for meaningful review.

XLpilot is built around that operating reality: financial control, accounting judgment, data quality, reconciliation, reporting, and the evidence required before a material result is accepted.

Built for controllers, analysts, accountants, operators, consultants, and data-heavy teams.
TRUST THROUGH CONTROL

Evidence before confidence.

XLpilot is designed to fail closed: preserve sources, expose uncertainty, require approval where material, and release only validated artifacts.

01 · SOURCE

Preserve the original

Read-only by default, with separate artifacts preferred over uncontrolled mutation.

02 · AUTHORITY

Keep the user in control

Visible plans, scoped approvals, explicit routing, and no hidden execution fallback.

03 · VALIDATION

Prove the result

Reconciliation, formula safety, data-quality checks, lineage, limitations, and reopenability.

04 · PRIVACY

Respect policy boundaries

Project isolation, secure credentials, minimum-necessary egress, and local-only execution when required.

XLpilot does not claim certifications, assurance, customer outcomes, or generally available capabilities that have not been independently verified.

PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you bring
your first workflow.

What is XLpilot?

XLpilot is a finance-native, source-neutral data-intelligence and execution platform for understanding, reconciling, transforming, modeling, validating, and reporting across complex business data.

Is XLpilot only for Excel?

No. Excel is central to the first desktop release, but the Core Engine is designed for structured files, documents, databases, APIs, images, cloud sources, and governed source federations.

What does the first private beta include?

The launch scope centers on the Windows desktop application, project-based work, governed workbook and tabular workflows, selected local and cloud models, visible approval, validation, and professional Excel artifacts.

Is the private beta available today?

Not yet. The current development build is undergoing source, installed-runtime, provider, lifecycle, and clean-machine acceptance before controlled external access begins.

Does XLpilot modify original files?

Source preservation is the default. A separate artifact is preferred. Any controlled live mutation requires explicit approval, conflict checks, and backup or rollback support.

Can I review work before it runs?

Yes. The product separates the request, clarification, plan, change review, approval, execution, validation, and released artifact.

How do local, cloud, and hybrid modes work?

Local mode is designed for zero-cloud-egress workflows, cloud mode uses configured providers, and hybrid mode routes each operation according to policy, sensitivity, and capability. Routing remains visible.

What outputs does XLpilot produce?

Designed outputs include reconciled workbooks, clean datasets, financial models, dashboards, management reports, exception registers, validation records, and traceable audit artifacts.

How is sensitive data handled?

The architecture emphasizes project isolation, source preservation, secure credential storage, minimum-necessary routing, visible approvals, validation, lineage, and fail-closed behavior.
